Lesson Format and Duration

  • Live online group lessons are held over Zoom every alternate week, according to a given schedule.
  • There are a total of 10 live online group lessons spread across two school terms (5 lessons per term).
  • Each lesson lasts 45 minutes.

    Frequently Asked Questions about Online Music Theory Lessons

    You do not need to be taking practical lessons to start theory, although many students do both. For exam-track learners, your teacher will still align content with the syllabus and grade to keep everything relevant. Many students sign up as a supplement preparation towards their theory exams so they can focus physical lessons time on the practical aspect. 

    Nothing fancy! Just a stable internet connection, a device with a camera and microphone (preferably a laptop or desktop), stationery and your Music Theory Workbook.

    The learning resources (including video lessons) will be made available to you upon sign-up, on a platform called LearnWorlds. Resources will be released by topic, according to a given schedule.

    Prices vary depending on grade and level.  Opt for the 3-5 pax class for cheaper rates than 1:1 online learning.

    No, there will be no make-up lessons, as this is a group class.

    You may watch the replay of a missed lesson once it is uploaded onto the learning portal.

    We will group students according to similar grade level so this encourages mutual discussion and effective learning.
