    Frequently Asked Questions by Private Music Teachers

    Yes, The Piano Tribe connects students across Singapore with private piano teachers.  Check out our piano lessons locations and find students near you. We will match you students in your area of preference.

    Once approved after the vetting process,our teachers get the first successful match free of charge! Every subsequent successful match is subject to a 40% of the first month’s lesson fee. 

    You will hop on a call with our two founders and be given a kickstart guide. We will also provide post-service support for the first 3 months after your first successful match. 

    Student profiles are matched to teacher’s indicated preferences in location, interests, strengths & relevant experience.

    We assess teachers beyond just certifications alone, but teaching competency and professionalism. We look at teaching experience, musical competencies, communication skills & growth mindset. 

    We carefully vet teachers to maintain teaching quality and ensure strong student-teacher matches. Upon submission of the above form, you will have a 10 minute assessment call with our founders. Scenario-based questions may cover: practice strategies, lesson structuring, student motivation. The objective is to evaluate communication and teaching thought process and discussion fof student management approaches.
