Our teachers hold at least a teaching diploma (DipABRSM/ACTL/LTCL), with degrees from reputable local colleges like LASALLE, NAFA, overseas conservatories with Singpapore Music Teaching Association (SMTA) membership as a commitment to continual upsklling. With a 100% pass rate (last 12 months), record exam distinctions, and some with international masterclasss and performance (gigs) experience.

"Ms Gracia is one of the best teachers I've ever had because she listens to your worries and always asks your opinions on how you did well or on areas you could have done better, no criticisms or scoldings ever. Her teaching style suits all levels of students as she is very patient, but of course will be more nitpicky when it comes to the more advanced students. I have personally improved a lot in terms of my technical skills and musically too, even though I had only joined her studio at the start of this year. I have gained lots of confidence for performing due to the beautifully planned masterclasses and mini-recitals that takes place very often each year. Her studio, which is her very own home, is air-conditioned and has a cozy vibe, which gives students a conducive environment to learn. Overall, Ms Gracia is a wonderful teacher and will guide you to your dreams of becoming a great pianist!"

"Grace, founder of The Piano Tribe is an incredibly thoughtful, passionate and talented piano teacher. Both my girls (aged 9 and 7) have been taking piano lessons from her for years. Motivation to learn by kids can vary, but Grace keeps them motivated by observing their music interests, and choosing piano pieces that they will be excited to play. I appreciate that she doesn’t just focus on sight reading but also introduces improvisation - helping children connect with music more creatively. Grace also observes her students’ gaps and helps them improve on their technique e.g. skills, rhythm, pedal work. She is now applying her high standards for teaching music to help more parents find suitable teacher matches for their child. The piano tribe also organises fun annual recitals (something you don’t often get with private piano teachers) which my girls have been actively participating in since young. It helps them build confidence in performance. Overall, I’d highly recommend every parent to give The Piano Tribe’s service a go if you are looking to kickstart your child’s piano journey!"
