Hi! I’m Britney and I’ve been teaching the piano since 2019 when my neighbour approached me to give her daughter lessons after listening to my relentless playing. Thanks to that opportunity, it gave me the confidence to start giving piano lessons which kickstarted my journey as a piano teacher.  Furthermore, graduating from an Early Childhood Diploma gave me some prerequisite skills in teaching and dealing with young children! As a piano learner myself, I used to dislike taking the exams and dreading lessons because there was always a pressure to attain good results in order to be considered “good” at the piano, and it felt like i was just doing it to please my parents and teacher. I believe good results comes naturally when the learner is inspired, motivated and passionate about it. Therefore, after becoming a teacher, my passion and priority lies in ensuring my students love the instrument and the music and sound they can create with it, by tapping on their interest in the different genres of music. I hope to inspire as many people as possible to learn, to love and to play the piano well! ◡̈
